Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal information RA Global Solutions BD collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Visa work involves unusually sensitive documents, so we have tried to describe our handling of them plainly rather than in general terms.
Who this policy covers
It covers visitors to this website and clients who engage us for consultancy. RA Global Solutions BD is responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, we collect what you type into the form — typically your name, your contact details and the description of your enquiry.
When you engage us for an application, we collect a good deal more, because the application requires it. Depending on the route, that can include:
- Identity and travel documents — passport, national ID, photographs, date and place of birth.
- Contact and address history.
- Education and employment records, transcripts and references.
- Financial evidence, such as bank statements or a sponsor’s documents.
- Family details, where the route requires them.
- Immigration history, including previous applications and any refusals.
- Where a destination requires it, medical or police-clearance certificates.
Some of this is sensitive information about you, and in places about your family or a sponsor. We ask for it only where the application needs it, and we ask you to tell anyone else whose documents you give us that you have done so.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We use your information to:
- Answer your enquiry and advise you on the options open to you.
- Prepare, check and submit your application, and correspond with the relevant authority about it.
- Keep you updated, and keep our own record of the advice we gave and the work we did.
- Meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
We rely on your consent for an enquiry you send us, on the performance of our agreement with you for the work itself, and on our legal obligations for the records we are required to keep. You can withdraw consent at any time, though we may be unable to continue with an application if you do.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is needed to do the work you asked for, or where the law requires it. That means:
- The embassy, high commission, visa application centre or government department handling your application — this is the point of the exercise, and an application cannot be made without it.
- An educational institution or sponsor, where your route involves one and you have asked us to correspond with them.
- Service providers who help us operate — for example the provider that delivers messages from this website’s contact form, or a courier carrying documents.
- Our professional advisers, or a public authority, where we are legally required to disclose.
Applying for a visa necessarily means your information is sent to the destination country, where the law protecting it may differ from the law in Bangladesh. That transfer is inherent in the service and cannot be avoided if you wish to apply.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Nothing here needs a cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.
The fonts and images the site uses are served from our own site rather than from a third-party network, so simply reading a page does not report your visit to anyone else. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as any web host does.
If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy before doing so, not after.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only as long as we need to answer them and to follow up. We keep client files for as long as the engagement lasts, and afterwards for the period our legal and tax obligations require — an immigration file is also worth keeping while a future application might refer back to it.
When a retention period ends, we delete the records or destroy the physical documents securely. Original documents you lend us, such as a passport, are returned to you as soon as they are no longer needed.
How we protect it
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to client files is limited to the staff working on your matter, and physical documents are held securely at our offices. No system is perfect, but we take the sensitivity of immigration documents seriously and handle them accordingly.
Please do not send passport scans, financial statements or other sensitive documents through the website form or over unsecured messaging — ask us first, and we will tell you the safest way to get them to us.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose, or withdraw a consent you gave us.
Some limits apply: we cannot delete information an authority already holds because it formed part of a submitted application, and we cannot delete records we are legally required to retain. Tell us what you want and we will explain what we can do.
Applications involving children
Student and schooling routes often involve applicants under 18. Where they do, we deal with a parent or legal guardian, and we collect the child’s information from them for the purpose of the application only.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our handling of personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
Contact us about your information
To ask a question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights above, please get in touch. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the relevant supervisory authority.
